Alex is the Hazing Prevention and Response Specialist for Community Standards & Student Conduct at the University of Washington (UW). In his role, Alex oversees the hazing prevention programs, investigations, and compliance for the entire UW system. He joined the university in October 2023 and earned his B.S. in Middle-Level Education from Winthrop University. He also received his M.Ed. in Education Administration from the University of South Carolina and his M.Ed. in Learning Design and Technology from Winthrop University.

Alex is an affiliated member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and continues to volunteer his time by facilitating harm reduction programs to chapters across the nation. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, working out, running, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Matt Khoury

Dr. Matt Khoury is Director of Student Conduct and Deputy Title IX Coordinator at New England College in beautiful Henniker, New Hampshire. No stranger to New England, Matt grew up in Massachusetts and obtained his Bachelor’s degree (English) at Plymouth State in New Hampshire. He obtained his Master’s Degree (Administrative Science) at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Doctor of Education Degree (Educational Leadership/Higher Education) at Valdosta State University in Georgia. Various positions in Residence Life and student conduct, ranging from Residence Hall Director to Director/Assistant Dean, brought him to several schools in the Midwest and New England. In addition, he spent several years overseeing assessment for a division of Student Affairs just outside of Atlanta, Georgia.

While a portion of his job is responding to situations that run counter to the code of student conduct and institutional policies, Matt spends a good amount of time working with students to educate them proactively about how to remain in good standing with the college. As a formally trained mediator, Matt always is happy to help students work through conflicts and stressors they may be having with others.

When not at work, Matt loves getting out into nature, reading, catching up on a favorite TV show or two, listening to music and playing piano, and hanging out with his wife, Di, two adult kids, Danny (25) and David (23), and adopted fur baby, Tommy.

Renee Skau

Renee serves as the Associate Director for Student Behavioral Education in Housing & Residential Life at the University of Arizona, where she oversees student assistance and accountability for students living on campus, and coordinating with campus partners including the Office of Institutional Equity, Dean of Students Office and the Office of Compliance.

Renee is a true Wildcat at heart, having earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Religious Studies from the University of Arizona and her Master’s degree in Higher Education from Saint Louis University. Renee has held positions in Residence Life at Saint Louis University, the University of Arizona and the University of Idaho. Renee is passionate about supporting students during their on-campus journey.

When not at work, Renee enjoys listening to audiobooks while either quilting or cross stitching or snuggling with her furbabies.
