Gavrielle Jacobson serves as Assistant Director of Residence Life at Virginia Wesleyan University, where she oversees the residential student conduct process, supervises Resident Assistants and Village Coordinators, and works to enhance the student experience. She began her career in student conduct as a graduate assistant at the University of South Carolina, where she focused on academic integrity and developed the institution’s first artificial intelligence module to address AI-related violations. Gavrielle also served as a Bracewell Conference Intern for ASCA, supporting the 2025 Annual Conference, and was recently a member of the Professional Growth Extended Committee for the 2026 Annual Conference. She holds an M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina and a B.A. in Sociology from Appalachian State University. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her cat.
