Bracewell Interns:

Gavrielle (“Gavi”) Jacobson is a second-year student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs M.Ed. Program at the University of South Carolina. In addition to her studies, Gavrielle works as a Graduate Assistant in USC’s award-winning Office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity, where she works primarily with academic integrity.
Originally from Southern New Jersey, Gavrielle earned her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Social Work from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Gavrielle’s experiences at Appalachian State University led her to pursue her career in student affairs and sparked her interest of working in student conduct.
In her free time, Gavrielle enjoys exploring different hiking trails, reading, and spending time with her cat, Winnie.

 

Kennedy Robinson (she/her) is a second-year master’s student in the Student Affairs Administration program at Michigan State University (MSU), where she serves as the graduate assistant for Residential Care and Community Expectations, focusing on residential conduct. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music performance from MSU and has held various campus roles, including serving as a residential assistant. Kennedy is particularly interested in engaging students in the conduct process through educational, restorative, and holistic approaches. She is excited to intern with ASCA, expand her knowledge of conference planning, and further connect with the field of student conduct. In her free time, Kennedy enjoys finding hidden gems at thrift stores and playing cozy video games on her Nintendo Switch.

 

Presidential Interns:

Ranaysia Burrell (she/her) is a second-year graduate student in the College Student Affairs program at Rutgers University-New Brunswick in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Ranaysia is a graduate student intern in the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution Services. In her role, she adjudicates Off-Campus, Residence Life, and Academic Integrity cases.
Ranaysia received her Bachelor of Science in P-12 Health and Physical Education with a minor in Athletic Coaching from Kean University in Union, New Jersey. As an ASCA Presidential Intern, Ranaysia looks forward to networking with other Student Conduct professionals and working with the Board of Directors to execute the vision for this year’s Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon!

 

 

Julia Garfield (she/they) is a second year graduate student at Northern Arizona University’s (NAU) Counseling Student Affairs (CSA) program. Her current position is in the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities as a Graduate Assistant. She obtained an undergraduate degree in political science and anthropology at Chico State University. Julia is beyond excited to be working with fellow conduct administrators in this role and looks forward to connecting Portland.
