Assessment Chair – Jessica Bailey, M.A.

Jessica Bailey serves as the Assessment Committee Co-Chair for the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA), where she helps guide national efforts to strengthen assessment practices within student conduct work. She was recognized as ASCA’s 2025 Graduate Student of the Year, an honor that highlights her leadership, commitment to student learning, and contributions to the association.
Jessica is the Assistant Director in the Office of Student Advocacy and Accountability at Marshall University. In her role, she supports student conduct processes, case management, and educational outreach, with a focus on ensuring that accountability is paired with learning and student development. She also leads assessment initiatives within her office, helping to build sustainable and meaningful methods for evaluating programs, student learning outcomes, and overall departmental impact.
Prior to her current position, Jessica worked in a range of student affairs roles, contributing to program development, student engagement, and campus-wide initiatives such as Campus Safety Month and the university’s online orientation academy. Her experience reflects a consistent dedication to enhancing the student experience and strengthening institutional support structures.
Jessica is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Marshall University. Her scholarly interests include assessment as a driver of equity and improvement, how curriculum intersects with student support services, and the ways student affairs professionals contribute to holistic student success.
In her role as this year’s ASCA Assessment Committee Chair for the Annual Conference, Jessica is committed to supporting conduct professionals across the country in building actionable assessment practices, enhancing data-informed decision-making, and advancing the association’s mission through continuous improvement.
