The Association for Student Conduct Administration's Annual Conference brings together nearly a thousand higher education professionals for engagement and education. Attendees range from graduate students and entry-level professionals beginning their career-long relationships with vendors to seasoned professionals serving in senior student conduct officer (SSAO) roles.
Attendees can expect to experience a keynote speaker, three featured speaker general sessions, and choice of 12 concurrent programs presented by colleagues. Evening activities provide opportunities for more informal connection through identity-based summits and leisure activities such as team trivia.
For 2021, the ASCA Annual Conference will be held virtually. Each participant will be provided with a unique user ID for access to all conference content and activities hosted via ASCA's learning management platform (LMS). More instructions on access will be provided via e-mail to registrants in early February.
Tovuti Platform: ASCA's learning management platform will house all conference sessions and engagement opportunities.
Accessing Materials: Conference registrants will be loaded into Tovuti early next week on Feb. 1 & 2. Persons who've previously attended online ASCA events will have conference access added to their existing accounts. Persons new to ASCA online events will receive an access e-mail with username, temporary password, and link.
Preparation: Before the conference, make time to familiarize yourself with the platform. Setting up your profile and joining engagement groups will help maximize your experience.
Live Sessions: Access to live sessions will be available through the Tovuti platform and hosted by Zoom's technology.
Captioning: Captioning will be provided for all educational sessions and summits via VITAC. Look for the extra link next to each session to open live captions and transcription in a separate window.
