COVID-19 Protocols

2022 ASCA Annual Conference COVID-19 Protocols

ASCA has been working closely with the Crystal Gateway Marriott to follow CGC guidance on recommended COVID-19 safety protocols. In order to complete with these recommendations and offer an in-person experience that is as safe as possible, the following guidelines will be implemented during the ASCA 2022 Annual Conference:

  • Vaccinations:
In order to further prioritize the health and safety of our attendees, ASCA will require that all attendees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. ASCA has partnered with the HIPPA-compliant software system CrowdPass for proof of vaccination. A link to complete this step will be emailed to all registered attendees or persons planning to attend can complete this step now.
  • Face Coverings:
Those who are attending the Annual Conference will be expected to wear an appropriate face covering over the mouth and nose when in crowds and public spaces including, but not limited to, receptions, educational sessions, breaks, and any other event that is a part of the Annual Conference. Attendees are also encouraged to abide by any health and safety measures in the hotel and other areas outside of the conference.
  • Presenters:
Presenters will be positioned 12 feet from the front row and can be unmasked when presenting to increase the accessibility and inclusion of sessions.
  • Hand sanitizer:
Hand sanitation stations will be throughout the property. Personal sanitation bottles will be available.
  • Seating:
Seating within meeting spaces will follow social distancing guidelines whenever feasible.
  • Disinfecting:
Scheduled disinfecting will occur in meeting rooms and all high-touch areas as much as possible.
  • Microphones:
Microphones in meeting spaces will be disinfected between sessions, or replaced by sanitized mics.
  • Meals:
Meals in the ballroom will be served and plated.
